Anonymisation
The NCMAS 2025 call for applications will use proposal anonymisation, as used in previous NCMAS calls from 2020 to 2024. Anonymisation is mandatory; applications found to blatantly disregard the proposal anonymisation guidelines will be considered noncompliant and be withdrawn from further consideration.
The Office of the Women in STEM Ambassador has completed assessment of data for NCMAS 2021 and 2022 as part of the National Trial of Anonymising Research Funding Proposals, in collaboration with Australian research organisations. The report from this assessment is available at https://www.unsw.edu.au/science/engage-with-us/women-stem-ambassador-program/making-research-applications-anonymous.
